I am an aspiring travel blogger with a keen eye and passion for adventure.

Ever since I was a little girl I was excited about travel – even if it was for a single day or a few hours out on a field trip. There was something enchanting about the sound of an aeroplane that would beckon me to run out searching the skies and waving to the planes that flew over my house.

I remember making a promise to the little me that I will travel one day and when I do I WILL NEVER STOP!!

It took a few years to make that happen. While successfully making a career for myself initially in the field of medicine and then making a transition into aviation I slowly started to bring my childhood dreams to life. I have managed to make time to travel balancing out work and leisure for about 12 years – from the Grand Canyon to the Blue Mountains in Australia; Walking the strip in Vegas to hiking up Mount Vesuvius; from the thundering Niagara Falls to the Eiffel Tower in Paris; from the most beautiful beaches in the Maldives or Seychelles or exploring one of my favourite places on earth beautiful New Zealand which kept drawing me back over and over again.

Reflecting on all the travel I’ve done so far I finally decided its time to take my passion to the next level – sharing my stories and encouraging everyone to travel safe and travel smart. If I could do it then so can you. All it takes is the first step in making that decision to travel and then comes the fun part – planning it.

Through my blog I will show you how beautiful and enigmatic our world is. You will get a chance to explore some real gems and get to see them through my eyes. I will aim to give you simple tips to assist you in your travel decisions.

Tam Says Travel Smart and Travel safe the moment you are able to as now is all the time you will ever have and our world is just too beautiful and mysterious to not go out and explore or just to simply be a part of it.
